Post Op Care
It is very important to understand that every tooth is different and every person responds differently under different circumstances. Each time you get a filling you will not necessarily have the same sensations. This is normal. These post-operative instructions are general and are will vary on a case by case basis. If Dr. Porterfield specifically gave you any instructions that contradict anything written, follow her instructions. If you have any questions that can not be answered via the web site contact our office or if you have a medical emergency contact your local hospital immediately.
Terminology
It’s very easy to get confused when you are at a dentist office with the terminology that is used. This is a list of the most common words you may hear at our office. However, anytime Dr. Porterfield or any of her staff uses a word or a phrase you don’t understand be sure to ask for clarification.
